Baseada na maravilhosa série espanhola, Polseres Vermelles, Red Band Society tentou trazer a mesma dinâmica que a série mãe, mas não obteve sucesso. A estréia da primeira e única temporada, foi em Setembro de 2014 e a história focava nos medos e obstáculos dos pacientes de um hospital pediátrico. Infelizmente Red Band Society teve muitos erros, que acabaram acarretando na baixa audiência e no seu cancelamento no final do mesmo ano.
A imagem de um hospital totalmente diferente, que mais parecia um ensino médio, e personagens que não foram tão cativantes, foram uns dos principais erros que a série cometeu, e nem Octavia Spencer conseguiu salvar! Entretanto, o principal acerto foi a trilha sonora. Incrivelmente atual e recheada de músicas tocantes, a soundtrack foi perfeita, até porque não tem o que reclamar de tocar Coldplay no final do primeiro episódio, né?
