What is community college? Well, you’ve heard all kinds of things. You’ve heard it’s ‘loser college’ for remedial teens, twenty-something drop-outs, middle-aged divorcees, and old people keeping their minds active as they circle the drain of eternity. That’s what you heard, however… I wish you luck!

Um dos cancelamentos mais tristes que já enfrentei foi o de Community. A série, quando estreou, era tudo o que estava faltando na TV. Uma comédia simples, porém inteligente. Sem personagens caricatos, mas que tinham capacidade de cativar a audiência.

A principal característica de Community era de se comunicar com o telespectador através de referências e paródias do mundo pop. Foram inúmeros filmes, incontáveis séries e muitos games, mencionados em cada um dos 110 episódios, distribuídos em 6 temporadas, sendo a maioria proferidos por Abed, o estudante da faculdade que queria ser diretor de cinema, ou por seu melhor amigo, Troy. Eram tantas referências que eu precisava rever o episódio para entender tudo.
